Cable Providers Offer Expanded Services

Cable repairs have historically been at no charge when the cable needs service. Having a relationship with one provider takes a lot of worry off the customer when things need some adjusting.
Typically, when a cable television company offers packaged services such as this, it comes at a discount to what the individual services would cost from the separate service companies. Service discounts and likely an installation discount for new customers is a big attraction for someone who is shopping for price and convenience.
Since cable television began in the 1950's, it has been known that the coaxial cable used to carry many television channels has some other very interesting characteristics. One of the most interesting is the capability of the cable to carry multiple signal paths, and to carry them in both directions.
This capacity enabled the Cable TV Providers to offer expanded services like telephone and Internet beginning in the 1990's and has greatly added convenience to the lives of its customers.
