Cherry is a good friend of mine. I do not have a lot of friends. It has always been a choice for me to keep my circle of friends small because I wanted to give each and every one of them quality time. I admit that I tend to be possessive of my friends and I don't feel like sharing them to just anyone. My friends also know that I have the tendency to be sensitive. I am easily hurt even by trivial matters and so they are extra careful when they deal with me. I am truly lucky to have been blessed with great friends. I thought that God must have known how much I need them in my life. I was sad when Cherry left for UK to work. But it was one those things that I had no control over so I was left with no choice but to accept it. Nevertheless, we still keep in touch. I call her especially when I needed to do isbn search uk. I'm just glad that the friendship stays despite the distance. |

My mother always bought us some fruits and vegetables from the supermarket which had been branded with some papers that contained information which we could not understand so we obviously decided to throw the papers away when washing the fruits as this to us was waste. It is not until we had an isbn recognition lesson with our teacher that I was able to understand why the fruits and vegetables had to be branded while being sold from the supermarkets. The next time my mother came with fresh fruits, I decided to find an isbn number from one of the fruits as per the lessons that we had been taken through by our teacher and then compare it with an isbn of another fruit. I realized that they are not the same and came up with the conclusion that maybe they were using these isbn numbers to act as details that they can use in machines when trying to identify a certain fruit with its number. The papers stuck on the fruits do have meanings and they are important to whomever that places them there, so do not assume that they are just for brand or any other kinds of services. |

I have been a member of LinkedIn for three years. At first I had the perception that the site was a complete waste of time. I must admit I did not know a lot about it. I only knew of a couple of other people who signed up to the site. I thought I would sign up. It is great being able to list qualifications and mention your job title and organization. So far I have close to 100 connections - from those who specialise in corporate brochure design to developers and programmers. I work as an accountant and have connected with many like minded people through the site. I have even been offered employment overseas. It is quite incredible. The site is easy to use and doesn't cost a cent. If you want to increase your contacts this is the right way to go about it. It is really up to you how much information you wish to disclose. Just remember that virtually anyone will be able to view your profile so you may want to be careful what information you choose to display. |

Getting a job as an actor is not easy and getting up the ladder to being a good actor is not easy too. Losing that role is not hard as it is to get to that point. This is something that many people do not realize. There are very many actors who have been alleged to taking drugs and literally abusing them. There are those who do drugs but the drugs consumption does not affect their performance at all. There are those like charlie sheen whose performance gets affected by some of their deeds. Charlie sheen is one of the few actors of television who is paid more than a million dollars for each episode that he casts. He has been reported to be very verbal in a bad way when it comes to his employers, Chuck Lorre and that plus his drug addiction caused him to be fired from the famous show, 'two and half men'. It is reported that he is going to be replaced by Ahton Kutcher in the popular comedy that has over seven seasons to date. |

My father adores my mother and you can tell by how well her treats her. Another way you can tell he loves my mother is because he understands and appreciates her. I have four brothers and my mother has sacrificed a lot in order to take good care of us. There were times when she would be so tired and in turn release all her fatigue and pain on my father when he came home and he never took it personally. In fact he listened to her as she complained about something and he would always try to make her feel better by helping her. When I joined university I decided to be like my father when it came to treating girls in a particular way. Other boys thought I was too soft when I let a girl rant on and on about something. They would argue with their girls and the girls would leave them. The other day my girl told me that some of her friends were trying to know how to create group on facebook for those boys who did not understand them. She said that she did not have that need because I understood her and I had my father to thank for that. |

Working hard seems to be the hardest things that we as human beings have to go through everyday, but whatever the case we still have to work hard if we have to survive in this competitive world. Everybody has to do something that is extra ordinary for them to be recognized otherwise you will always be left behind when people are moving forward. Sometimes you will even have to do more than one thing to expand your brand as an individual. Actresses like kelly rowland who has countless occupations have been recognized because of their extra hard work. Managing singing, acting, modeling, dancing and hosting of programs is not something any ordinary woman would do. You will have to stand out of the crowd and prove yourself extra ordinary, otherwise things may get a bit tough for you if you stick to one plan. You should try out different things and see what it is that you are good at, work on it and make sure that you do it differently from all the others so that you can be recognized. |

The whole of last week, I have not used my Facebook account. I have been experiencing some technical problems as I tried to log in to my account from my computer, and I thought they were going to end soon, but I was wrong. I tried using another computer and everything was good, meaning the issue was only with my computer's connection. I thought about hiring the services of a technician, but I feared that their cost will be too high. As I waited for a solution to pop into my mind, my best friend advised me to try contacting facebook technical support. I had not thought about it, in fact I have never sought help in Facebook's site. I agreed, although I was not sure I was going to be helped. Contrary to my expectations, I received help immediately. I was guided oh how I was going to change the settings in my Facebook application, and I was also asked to update my software in order to get a good connection. This was a saviour in deed. |

Who on earth does not like celebrating their birthday? I do not think the number is very big though i understand that a big number of men like lying low when it comes to celebrating their birthdays unlike women who take this day very seriously and to them it is a day when true friends can stand to be counted. By this mean that if you call yourself some lady's friend yet you forget to at least remember them this day then you are as good as gone from this day on. Many marriages break on this day because a big number o men do not think of birthdays as serious as women do and for this reason they forget their wives birthday which is like committing marital suicide. Those who have forgotten this day can say the kind of wrath they experienced and i am sure that they from then onwards will remember. It is good to know that it is the thought that counts and not how expensive the gift is. Talking of birthdays one can post their birthday photos on Myspace Wall to their friends. It will make them share what happened. |

I appreciate all kinds of art - my house has a varied mix of Banksy prints and sculptures by various local sculptors for example. If I had to name my favorite artist, it would be an animator. His name is Paul Morehead Jr. and he is up and coming. I’m lucky enough to see his work as it is being done on a regular basis. Paul is a student studying animation in another country at the moment so I do not get a chance to see what he is working on. He is always working on something new. Sometimes it is paints. Sometimes it is pencils. Paul works with many types of drawing and painting tools. He has a knack for drawing lifelike characters, and he is now able to digitally animate them as a result of his university degree from a school in Vancouver, Canada. It is always smart to pursue furthering your education and Paul is doing just that right now. Paul is a fan of earlier and more modern Disney cartoons and I believe it greatly inspires him to be creative. It is worth mentioning that Paul’s grandmother, while alive, drew for Hallmark and their greeting cards. |

Photo or picture taking is a very popular thing in this current society. You will hear people saying that some people cannot take pictures at certain times maybe because of their appearances. If their hair is not looking good, then they will not take pictures. When they are taking pictures they like it if it is on their good side. Apparently their are sides that are not good. Despite all these rituals that are associated with picture taking, people still love taking pictures. This is because a moment in life will be frozen and preserved for the future. People really value pictures in that when something happens to their home and it burns down, then their pictures will no longer be there. That is why many people are opting for putting their pictures in a photo sharing site like flickr. When the pictures are here, then they are guaranteed that they will not get damaged. The can get a free account but the thing with an account that has no cost, Flickr limits will apply. You will not be able to upload many pictures or even videos and if you want to do so then you are going to have to up your grade. |

People who are not in to technology are always going on about the fact that social networks are not good and that they are very unhealthy and dangerous. What they mean by unhealthy is that it has an addictive nature and many people are always on facebook, if it is not in their phones, then they are on their computers and they can even chat on facebook the whole night. By dangerous they are inferring to the part that they are a lot of people who are out to prey on the privacy of unsuspecting people and thus violate their privacy. These is all true, but people have to learn self control and there are people who limit how long they are on social networks. When it comes to predators in social networks, the only way to curb that is by joining a safe social network like facebook. This is one of the safest networks because you can control who sends you messages. You can control who writes and looks at your Facebook Wall. Or even who leaves messages there because some people can really irritate you. |
